He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Owenby and Cordie Rogers Owenby; his son Brad Owenby; and his sister Donna Wingo. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Owenby; his sons, William "Ted" Owenby (Teresa) and Mitchell Owenby; and his siblings, Johnny Owenby and Pearline Vogh (Warren). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home (118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
