He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Reid and Ruby Allen Reid; and his wife Sheryl Roberts Reid. He is survived by: his brother Concrete; his sons, Alan Reid of Cleveland and Ben Reid of Cleveland; his grandchild Whitlee Jewell Reid; and his brother Walter (Brenda Reid).
