She was predeceased by: her parents, Lat Vandiver and Harriett Vandiver; her husband Jack W Smith; and her siblings, Jim Vandiver, Franklin Vandiver (Buzz), Dan Vandiver and Peggy Irvin.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Smith of Cleveland, GA, Stan Smith of Rock Hill, SC and Susan Adams (Tracy) of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Jonah Simmons (Tiffany), Joe Adams, Peter Adams (Abby), Ben Adams (Kaylynn), Alex and Rachel Smith; her sisters-in-law, Jimmie Vandiver, Mildred Vandiver and Miriam Vandiver; and her niece Tracy Vandiver Smith.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cleveland First Methodist Church (112 E Kytle St, Cleveland, GA 30528).
