She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Coursey Sr. and Rebus Johnson Coursey; her children, John Chamblee Jr., Toney Chamblee Sr. and David Chamblee Sr.; and her brother James Coursey Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Robert Chamblee (Michelle) of Gainesville and Barbara Chamblee of Cleveland; her stepsons, Michael Harper of Conley and Thomas Harper of South Carolina; and her sister Joyce Norris. She is also survived by Sixteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
