He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Flake Shaw Sr. and Flossie Kimes Shaw; his wife Brenda Shaw; and his son-in-law Joe Sarbon. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Brown (Gordon) and Kimberly Sarbon; his grandchildren, Hunter Norton (Audrey), Taylor Brown and Grace Jones; and his great grandchildren, Kai Norton, Shia Beach and Mila Beach.
