With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Joseph Temple of Cleveland, Georgia, born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph Temple and Christine Ray Temple; his sisters, Joy Temple Ross, Hope Temple Dakel and Susanna Temple Peters; and his niece Christine Ross.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Riddle Temple of Cleveland; his children, Joe Temple (Darby) of LaGrange, Nancy Temple Carr (Spencer) of Cornelia and Adrienne Temple Dagley of Farmersville; his siblings, Philip Temple (Judy) of Greenville, Faith Temple Scarborough (Walter) of Allen and Joanna Temple Hutchcraft of Athens; his brothers-in-law, Lynn Dakel of Richardson and Greg Peters (Susan) of Lakemont; and his grandchildren, Cody Dagley, Valerie Dagley, Anna Dagley, Temple Carr, Ray Carr, Shands Temple and Sloan Temple. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

“It is with heartfelt condolences that I share with each of you in the Temple family. Words cannot express the impact that Tim had on my life as well as on Jo Carol, Emily and Stephanie. I remember Stephanie as a child during the morning service drawing her rendition of what Tim was teaching that day. I regret that I was unable to attend the service. I think of you all each time I drive down Butternut Street and see the old ABC building there. Today I will say a prayer for you all! God's Blessing!”
