He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Leonard and Dorthea Floyd Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Ann Leonard; his daughter Heather; his son-in-law Marcus Bowen of Kingsland, GA; his children, Brenda Leonard and Tim Taylor; his grandchildren, Zackary, Claire, Noah, Erin, Dreama, Dakota, Gabby, Elijah and Amber; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Lori Leonard; and his siblings, Mary Leonard and John Leonard.
