It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Ray Brooks (Cleveland, Georgia), born in Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tiller Jones and Iola Rosalee Breland Jones; her husband Albert Brooks; and her daughter Pamela Halbrook. She is survived by: her daughter Wanda; her son-in-law Ronnie Grigsby; her children, Rebecca Brooks of West Chester, PA, Edward (Stacy Brooks) and Cleveland; her grandchildren, Kevin Grigsby, Melody DelPozo, Amy Broom, Andrew Grigsby, Samantha Sheriff, Jacob Markiewicz, Brett Brooks, Michelle Robison, Kayla Davenport, Joshua Broom and Jeffrey Markiewicz; and her siblings, Wayne Jones, Tiller Jones and Eugenia Herndon of Walterboro. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
