It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Nix (Cleveland, Georgia), who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny A Highsmith and Martha Whelchel Highsmith; her husband John L. Nix; and her daughter LaTrelle Nix Edwards. She is survived by: her sons, Ken (Cathy Nix) and Edward (Betty Nix); and her grandchildren, Callie (David Field), Jake (Ramsey Nix), Dorothy (Brandon Davis), Cass Nix of Greenville, SC, Kristy (Thomas Young), Katie (Jonathan Hinshelwood), Chris Edwards of Cleveland, GA and Fran (Sal Barcenas).
