He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Tinius and Mary Belle Tinius; and his daughter Jacquelyn Kaye Tinius. He is survived by: his spouse Jimmie Ann Hutto; his daughters, Sarah Lynn Thornton and Gwendolyn Joyce Tinius; his sons-in-law, Russ Thornton and Francisco Canal; his son Allen Tinius; and his grandchildren, Josh Tinius, Luke Tinius, Nathan Tinius, Richard Canal, Nicolas Canal, Casey Tinius, Kate Thornton, Annie Thornton and Victoria Canal. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
