He is survived by: his wife Kim-Thi Tran of Cleveland; his daughter Ngoc Hoa Nguyen; his son-in-law Tuan Le; his grandchildren, Tyffani Le of Gainesville and Tristyn Le of Gainesville; his daughter Thu-Cuc Tran; his son-in-law Paul Doan; his grandchildren, Braydon Doan of Cleveland and Gabrielle Doan of Cleveland; his son Andy Nguyen; his grandsons, Eric Tran of Cleveland and Ethan Nguyen of Cleveland; his daughter Jacqueline Nguyen; his son-in-law Oanh Nguyen; his grandchildren, Vincent Nguyen (Michelle Friesz) of Cleveland and Victoria Nguyen of Cleveland; his son Richard Dinh Nguyen; his daughter-in-law Kaire Nguyen; his grandchildren, Christopher Pham-Bui of Cleveland, Carter Nguyen of Cleveland, Colin Nguyen of Cleveland and Cammie Nguyen of Cleveland; his son Quan Dinh Nguyen; his daughter-in-law Jessica Nguyen; and his grandchildren, Casen Nguyen of Cleveland, Parker Nguyen of Cleveland and Logan Nguyen of Cleveland.
