She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Thomas and Laura Lavonia Garrett Thomas; and her siblings, Bonnell Thomas, Barney Thomas and Oneal Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Welborn; her children, Hope Welborn, Caleb (Kayla Welborn) and Joshua (Melissa Welborn); her grandchildren, Andrew Welborn and Julie Welborn; and her siblings, Sammy Thomas of Cleveland, Kenneth Thomas of Cleveland, Jerry (Vivian Thomas), Herman (Billie Rae Thomas), Buddy (Carolyn Thomas), Robin (Sherry Thomas), Jimmie Ruth McGee and Jackie Fain. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
