He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Eugene "Gene". He is survived by: his wife Joy Floyd Haynes; his mother CaraNita Winn Haynes; his brother Rob Haynes (Jacque); his children, Bryan Haynes (Josie Kressner), Kathryn "Katie" Haynes Trammell (Sean) and Luke Hornsby; his grandchildren, Ada Kressner, Arlo Kressner and William Hornsby; his nieces and nephews, Kayla Haynes, Shelbi Parker and Kevin Parker; and also Lana Parker (Denny Newman).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall of the Church (112 E Kytle St, Cleveland, GA 30528). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mossy Creek United Methodist Church (2230-2298 Post Rd, Cleveland, GA 30528).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in his name to help preserve his favorite walking trails in Smithgall Woods State Park, through the Georgia Natural Resource Foundation website at gnrf.gadnr.org. Donations can also be made to the American Cancer Society.
