It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Lanier Chambers (Cleveland, Georgia), born in White, Georgia, who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Chambers and Lora Chambers; and his siblings, Louise Thigpen, Dot Struble, Velma McLendon, Roy "Jere" Chambers and Billy Wayne Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Allison Chambers; his daughters, Beth Chambers and Carol Chambers Crumley (Greg); his grandchildren, Coleby Nelson (Ashley), Dillon Nelson, Cayden Crumley, Erica Owens (Drew) and Drew Crumley (Candace); his great grandchildren, Addie Nelson, Hadley Nelson, Evy Owens, Archie Owens and Rory Crumley; and his sister-in-law Joyce Bentley (Ed). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be acknowledged and charitable contributions can be made in Lanier's name to the First Presbyterian Church Choir in Cleveland and the American Heart Association.
