He is survived by: his wife Frances Martin of Cleveland, GA; his children, Barbara McDowell (Richard) of Richmond Hill, John Martin of Virginia Beach, VA and Dale Martin (Bonnie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his brother John Wayne Martin (Peggy) of Dallas, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
