He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Seabolt Lance; and his brother Donald Lance. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherrie (Tracy Allen) and Debra (Darryl Moler); his grandchildren, Morgan, Blake Daniel, Trey Allen, Robert Owenby and Decatur; his sister Sarah Hamilton of Jonesboro; and his siblings-in-law, Hilda Fain, Sautee, Callie Copelan, Clarkesville, Francis Seabolt, Hartwell and Ron Connery of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
