She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Bond and Edna Bond. She is survived by: her siblings, Ronald Bond (late Sarah), Polly Mann (late Jim), Vivian Edwards (late Don) and Linda Loggins (Jimmy); her husband Robert Lewis Owens (Bob); her stepson Robert; her grandchildren, Zachary (Kelly), Rebecca Galvis (Mauricio) and Isaac (Logan); her son Ben; and her child-in-law Hygie.
It was Gwen's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Bob Owens Art Scholarship Fund at UNG: Visual Arts Scholarships & Awards.
