He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ervin and Tetzel Wilder McAfee of Cleveland; and his sisters-in-law, Juanita McAfee, RayAnn Reed (H. E.), Bonnell Nix Cox (Garnett) and Verdell Nix Woodall (Rogers).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Nix McAfee; his children, David McAfee (Dawn) and Erin Austin (Jamie); his grandchildren, Harley McAfee, Camryn McAfee, McKayla Austin, Jaycelin Austin and Nathaniel Austin; his great grandchildren, Kolson and Maylee Rae Wheeler; his brothers, Cleve McAfee (Pat) and Jerry McAfee (Pam); his sisters-in-law, Judy Lawson (Greg) of Cleveland, Geneva Carroll and Linda Kanady (Thomas); his nieces, Shelley Bouchard (Eric), Suzette McAfee and Emily Pruitt (Matt); and his nephew Jeremy McAfee (Brittany). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and cousins.
