He is survived by: his father Hugh Scruggs of Altoona, Alabama.; his daughter Heather Middleton of Marietta, Georgia.; his siblings, Jean Mason of Blueridge, Georgia, Tammie Norsworthy (Dan) of Dahlonega, Georgia and Aubrey Scruggs of Altoona, Alabama.; and his grandchildren, Marissa Jones (Zach) and Alissa Pierce.
