He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Risener and Vera Cooley Risener; his grandson Andrew Sass; and his sister Patricia Ann Overton. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Risener; his children, Dana Sass, Danny T. Risener II (Dawn), William "Bill" Risener (Darcy), Sheila Crist and Tracy Kozuh; and his grandchildren, Amber Kasban, Parker Risener, Danny T. Risener III (Emily) and Heather Markham of Desiree Swayne, T. J. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barrett Funeral Home (118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home (118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528).
