It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Pruitt (Cleveland, Georgia), who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ballet Pruitt and Ethel Mary Ann Jenkins (M. E.); his son Michael Anthony Pruitt; his grandson Joshua Lee Stroud; and his brothers, Julius, Lester, Harold, Willie and Lamar.
He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Blackwell; his daughters, Karis P. Lewis (Neil) of Huntsville, AL and K. Danyel P. Morrison (Steven) of Huston, TX.; his grandchildren, Fransiscis "Bianca" Lipscomb Franklin, Robert P, Jr., Ryan, Rodrick, Justina, Caleb and Corey; and his siblings, Johnny I. Pruitt of Atlanta, GA, Roy M. Pruitt of Atlanta, GA and Gloria P. Sutton of Cleveland, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
