He was predeceased by: his parents, Velvia Cochran Parks and Cleatis Wesley Parks; and his brother Donald William Parks. He is survived by: his sister Kathryn Parks Wills; his wife June Westmoreland Parks; his son Westley Gene Parks (Laurie) of Camden; his grandchildren, Caroline Watts (Jon), Sarah Price (Chris) and Connor Parks; his great grandchildren, Collins Watts, Carraway Watts, Peyton Price, Emma Price and Nell Parks; his sister-in-law Kathryn Wills (Don); and his son John.
