She was predeceased by: her father Buford Vinson "B. V."; her husband J. C. Adams; her son Larry Adams; and her brother Buford Shewbert. She is survived by: her daughter Lynette; her children-in-law, James Harper and Diane Adams; her sister-in-law Dallette Shewbert; her grandchildren, Dede, Angile Dyer, Lori, Tim Easterling, Allyson Harper, Sheila Walker, Andrea and Jason Brown; and her great grandchildren, Adam, Maggie Dyer, Tucker, Carley Dyer, Kelsey, Taylor Chapman, Hannah, Julian Benton, Haleigh, Ryan McCain, Jake Brown and Claire Brown.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Betty's memory to Mt. Yonah Baptist Church Cemetery fund - 882 Asbestos Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.
