She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Chastain and Bular Nicholson Chastain. She is survived by: her husband Perry "Doug" Postell; her daughters, Debbie Kennedy and Kim Wilson; her grandchildren, Danielle Meeks, Brooke Bird, Jennifer Dalton, Darline Rodriguez and Michael Wilson; and her sister Diane Manus. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
