He was predeceased by: his parents, Adcus Truelove and Maud Gilstrap Truelove; his brothers, Hoyt, Ralph, Elmer and Oscar Truelove; his daughter Judy Truelove; and his granddaughter Sadie Marie Truelove.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Standridge Truelove; his children, Joyce Truelove, Phil Truelove and Jan Truelove; his grandchildren, Kipling Matas (Jonathan), Ian Simmons, Lucas Simmons (Sarah), Graham Meers, Amber Meers and Landon Meers; and his great grandchildren, Ben Matas and Anamarie Matas.
