He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Runelle Harkins and John Whitridge Williams. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Williams; his son Richard Kells Williams, Jr.; his siblings, John T. Williams and Frances Chastain (Charles); and his close friend Rene Hernandez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
