He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bowen and Jimmie Savage Bowen; and his brothers, George Bowen and John Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Reba Bowen; his children, Jacob (Megan Bowen), Joab (Brittney Bowen) and Mary; his son-in-law Matthew Haynes; his grandchildren, McCall Bowen, Scout Bowen, Macie Bowen, Caraline Bowen, River Bowen, Luke Haynes, Beau Haynes and Seth Haynes; and his brothers, Bill Bowen, James Bowen, Tim Bowen, Tommy Bowen and David Bowen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
