Janice Elizabeth Turk Adkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Elizabeth Turk Adkins of Clermont, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on February 2, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hollis Turk and Ruth Turk; her husband Syl Gene Adkins; her sons, Les T. Adkins (Jamie Leno) and Stephen S. Adkins (Karen Holden); her grandchildren, Nathaniel Adkins (Liz), Jacob Adkins, Brandi Fleck Sauls (Ryan) and Alyssa Fox (Michael); her great grandchildren, Connor Outten, Max Fox, Will, Nate, Carter Sauls and Ella Fox; and her siblings, Barbara Bell (Glenn) and Andy Turk (Glennda Dawley). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 the family has requested masks be worn and adhere to social distancing protocols.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Urban Health Initiative (Emory University), in memory of Dr. Janice T. Adkins.
