It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ira Davis Forrester Jr. of Clermont, Georgia, born in Chamblee, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Davis Forrester, Sr. and Edith Hulsey Forrester; and his sister Susan Forrester. He is survived by: his wife Paula Jean Hamilton Forrester; his children, Josh (Crystal), Lane (Russell) and Hartness (Gainesville); his brother Michael (Diane); his grandchildren, Raina (Santa Monica), Cameron Burke (Clermont), Elijah, Payton Forrester (Clermont), Haley Grace, Lyla Kate and Anna James Hartness (Gainesville); his aunts, Shirley Jones, Polly Jane Bower and Barbara Forrester; and his cousin Benny Armour.
The family ask that everyone attending the visitation and funeral to please wear a mask and social distance.
