He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Thomas Gailey and Jura Idell Jackson Gailey; and his brother Howell Gailey. He is survived by: his wife Emilie Strickland Gailey; and his children, Richard Gailey (Linda), Ronald Gailey (Debbie), Dr. Sarah Grooms (Fred) and Clermont. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
