With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon S. Black of Clermont, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest E. Black and Winnie P. Austin Black; his wife Marcia Whelchel Black; his children, Amanda Cronan (Kacy) of Clermont, Jamie Buffington (Bart) of Gainesville, Eric Thomas (Tracy) of Clermont, Curtis Black (Kessie) of Lula and Russ Thomas of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ty, Drew Cronan, Tucker, Tanner Buffington, Micayla Thomas, Cara Lea Black West, Peyton Black, Evan, Taylor and Jake Thomas; and his great grandchild Reagan Thomas.
Due to rising COVID-19 concerns, the wearing of masks is recommended but not required.
