With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaye Vaughan Hicks (Clermont, Georgia), born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Jack Hicks; her parents, V. J. Vaughan and Jeanne Vaughan; and her siblings, Bill, Bobby Vaughan and Patsy Carpenter.
She is survived by: her sons, Rob Hicks (Georgiann) and Joe Hicks (Emily); her grandchildren, Sheree (Jeremy), Shay (Logan), Bailey, Bennett and Blakely; her great grandchildren, Annielee, Paisley, Berklee, Deacon and Chezlee; her sister Kathye (Chuck); and her siblings-in-law, Phil and Jennie Sue.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Eagle Ranch or St. Jude's in her honor.
