He was predeceased by: his parents, O'Connor Thomas and Willie Mae Thomas (Henson); and his wife Betty Sue Thomas (Barnes). He is survived by: his children, Susan Greenway (Fred), Richard Thomas (Carolyn) and Donna Kelley (Steve); his grandchildren, Cara Whiting, Sheena Patterson and Kenzie Welch; and his siblings, Joyce Clark, Mildred Smith, Howell B. Thomas and James Thomas. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
