She was predeceased by: her parents, William Virgil Nichols and Vicie Mae Clark; her husband Clarence W. Carpenter, Sr.; and her siblings, Aubrey Nichols, Opal Littleton, Clara Mae Trusty and Venus Berrong.
She is survived by: her children, Clarence W. Carpenter, Jr. (Sonya) and Candace E. Carpenter; and her sister Virgie Cannon (Alton) of Tyler, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Clayton First Assembly of God (205 Ministry Mountain Dr, Clayton, GA 30525). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Persimmon Community Cemetery (2032 Persimmon Rd, Clayton, GA 30525).
