He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Luster and Jewell Ellen Jarrard Luster. He is survived by: his daughters, Erin Luster Gaglio (Paul) of Clayton and Sarah Luster (Logan Carnes) of Lakemont; his sisters, Susan Buchanan (Paul) of Clayton and Betsy Nichols of Clayton Ga; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Queen, Madisyn Queen, Hayden Hall and Landon Carnes.
