He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mitchell and Clara Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Martha Pike Mitchell; his children, Robert Wade Mitchell (Toni) of Claxton and Tiffany Driggers (Jon) of Claxton; his sisters, Ann Credle of Jonesboro and Sarah Lindsey of Brooks; his grandchildren, Harleigh Driggers, Chandler Driggers, Tyler Mitchell and Hunter Mitchell; his niece Melissa Kuneyl; and his nephew Tommy Lindsey.
