He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edgar Hunter and Bessie Cora Carnes Hunter; and his siblings, Doyce Hunter, Vera Craig, Millie Rholetter and Patricia Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Cora Hunter; his children, Brian Robert Hunter of Salem and Tracy Denise Galloway of Salem; his siblings, Lloyd Hunter of Clayton, GA, Jerry Freeman of Gaston, SC, Helen Dickson of Vance, SC and Betty Burton of Westminster, SC; his grandchildren, Sarah Manley (Leon), Haley Hunter (Jonathan), Kaitlin Galloway, Hunter Galloway and Logan Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Cambrie Manley, Remington Manley, Quinn Rose Manley, Liam McKenzie, Kaden Galloway and Ella Price.
