He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Allen Godfrey and Icie Savannah Wall Godfrey; and his brother-in-law Otis Bradley. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Sue Bradley of Clayton and Isabelle Bradsher (Benn) of Franklin; his niece Ginger Johnson (Tom) of Franklin; and his nephews, Matt Bradley (Nicole) of Franklin and Tim Bradsher (Amy) of Mt. Vernon, Texas..
A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Beck Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Krivsky and Pastor Brandon Johnson officiating, in light of the Covid-19 we ask that masks be worn inside.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Richard's memory to the Antioch Methodist Church.
