She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Owen and Edna Frady Owen; her children, Mitchel "Elwood" O'Shields (Theresa), Harrison Ray O'Shields and Emily Leann O'Shields; her grandchildren, Tucker O'Shields and Jeffery; and her brothers, Tommy and David Owen.
She is survived by: her son Samuel O'Shields (Theresa); her grandchildren, Abigail, Savannah and Parker O'Shields; her daughter-in-law Teresa; her grandchildren, Anna O'Shields, Emily, Preston and Austin; and her siblings, Tim Owen, Gene Owen, Margie Stern, Mitch Owen and Brian Owen. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (423 Warwoman Rd, Clayton, GA 30525). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Wolf Mountain Cemetery (2237 Wolf Mountain Rd, Tuckasegee, NC 28783).
