He is survived by: his children, Shawn Hicks (Christal) of Oakwood, Georgia and Andrea Hanson of Monroe, Georgia; his grandchildren, Amber Beatty (Jake), Haley, Harley Hanson, Cody (Jayme), Jacob Hicks and Patrick Martin; his great grandchildren, Amelia Hanson, Bentley Wright and Raelynn Beatty; and his siblings, Vickie Stancil (James), Libby Hicks, Margaret York, Tammy Whitmire (Tony), Steve Hicks, Laura Welborn (Shane) of Rabun Gap, Shane Hicks (Kim) and Port St. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
