She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hardman Turpin and Mildred Stancil Turpin of Virginia; her brother Tommy Turpin; and her brother-in-law Ricky Webb. She is survived by: her husband Jack Carpenter; her children, Lisa Carpenter Hopper (Troy) of Wiley, Georgia and Kyle Carpenter (Karen) of Clayton, Georgia; her sister Emily Webb of Clayton, Georgia; her sister-in-law Judy Turpin of Lakemont, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Victoria Hopper, Andrew Hopper, Erica Carpenter and Garrett Carpenter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
