With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Welch Jr. of Clayton, Georgia, who passed away on June 20, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Welch and Nellie Webb Welch; and his siblings, Jane Johnson, Thee Welch and Genelia Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wines Welch; his sons, Faron Welch (Susan) and Anthony Welch (Denise); his grandchildren, Jennifer Welch, April Adcock (David), Kelsey Thompson (Scott), Sarah Collins (Hunter) and Abby Welch; his sister Molly Henslee; and his grandchildren, Lee Welch, Florence Jones and Lon Welch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Blue Heights Baptist Church in c/o John Welch Jr. 173 Shepherd St, Clayton, GA 30525.
