She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave McDowell and Martha Dockins McDowell Bleckley of Clayton, Georgia.; her son William Jesse Key (Georgia); her son-in-law John B. Harp, Jr. (Georgia); and her stepfather Edward Bleckley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Jean Harp (Georgia), Doris Ann Wall (Clayton) and Brenda Jo Giles Clayton (Glenn); her grandson Darrin Giles Clayton (Amy); her great grandchildren, Jarret Giles and Reid Giles; and her siblings, Frankie Rose Toccoa (Jerry), Joanne Davis Rome (Johnny), Judy Moore Toccoa (Henry) and Wayne Bleckley Toccoa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Friends of Pickett Cemetery C/O Lisa Bonnette Treasurer, Rabun County Bank P.O. Box 845 Clayton, GA 30525 in memory of Helen Key.
