He was predeceased by: his father Lucas Colagerakis. He is survived by: his mother Bessie Spirakas Colagerakis; his son Doug Colagerakis; his siblings, Jimmy, Steve Colagerakis, Amelia Chandler and Eva Cledaras; his wife Shirley Colagerakis; and his children, Mike Colagerakis (Betsy) of Franklin, NC., Jeff Colagerakis (Tanya) of Raleigh, NC. and Marcie Davis (Gary) of New Mexico.
