We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2021, at the age of 41, Gretchen Echols of Clayton, Georgia, born in Williamsburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Ian; and her father Ralph Thurman. She is survived by: her husband Matthew; her children, Bruce and Madison; her mother Patricia; and her brothers, Daniel Ross (Holly) and Richard Thurman.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ian's memory to F.A.I.T.H or to Rabun County Bank Memorial Fund for the Echols' family.
