George Edwin Nix Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Edwin Nix of Clayton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett Nix and Stella Nix; his wife Rebecca Nix; and his siblings, Doug Nix and Marie Speed.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Turner (Delwyn) and Melissa Shirey (Brooks); his brother Ernest Nix; and his grandchildren, Creed Turner, Kaleb Turner and Brooklyn Shirey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
