She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frank Lane and Susie Elizabeth Butler Lane; her brother Roger Theo Lane; and her brother-in-law Averette "Bud" Roland Walker. She is survived by: her husband Terril "Terry" of Clayton; her son Dean English (Shelli) of Clayton; her sister Hazel "Betty" Lane Walker of Clayton; her granddaughters, Bailey Austen English of Dawsonville and Jordan Elizabeth English of Clayton; her stepgrandson Chad Michael Gookins (Kayla) of Dothan; and her great grandchildren, Paisley Austyn English, Luke Eric James Gookins and Sanantha Michele Gookins.
In her honor and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Faithbuilders of Clayton First United Methodist Church, the Rabun Chapter of Trout Unlimited or to the Southern Highland Music Foundation.
