He was predeceased by: his parent Deliah Marcus Whitmire. He is survived by: his father Buddy Whitmire; his wife Shandy English Whitmire; his son Ethan; his daughter-in-law Krista Whitmire of Clayton, GA.; his siblings, Tony Whitmire (Tammy) of Rabun Gap, GA., Ben Whitmire (Brenda) of Rabun Gap, GA., Tom Whitmire of Rabun Gap, GA., Kenneth Whitmire of Rabun Gap, GA. and Ann Lee (Tim) of Franklin, NC.; and his grandson Braycen Whitmire.
