He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Chastain and Floyd York Chastain; his former wife Sabrina Shirley Chastain; and his brothers, Calvin Chastain and Barney Chastain.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McCay Chastain; his son Kwentin Chastain (Renee Whitmire); his stepchildren, Dustin Brown (Megan) and Casey Brown (David Bristol); his grandchildren, Krew Cosby Chastain, Parklan Jewel Chastain, Dawson Brown, Ryker Brown and Wyatt Tanksley; his siblings, Charles Chastain (Frances) and Ann Carlyle (Kenneth); his brothers-in-law, Stanley Shirley (Renee) and Danny McCay (Wanda); and his mother-in-law Frances Stovall McCay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barrett Funeral Home (118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home (118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528).
