She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Philyaw and Birdie Canup Philyaw; her husband Robert L. Hamby; her son Christopher Steven Hamby; and her siblings, Randell Philyaw and Frankie Williamson.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Loretta Hamby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family is at their respective residences and ask that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Mt. City Methodist Church in Mt. City, Georgia or to a charitable cause or organization of your choice.
